Dr. Jay Bass has been working with staff, parents and students as a counselor and administrator in Suburban Maryland and Northern Virginia high schools for the past 25 years.  He began INSIGHTS to offer individual academic and college planning and consulting in 1998 after experiencing great success with counseling public high school students.  Dr. Bass has received high praise and positive feedback for listening to students and families and meeting their needs for selecting courses, choosing appropriate extracurricular activities, matching college lists to student and family criteria and financial parameters, and assisting students with applications, essays, test strategies and timelines.
